Liam 🙂 This one’s for you! Happy Birthday! (So says your Skype) Talk to you later :-)! On a ASSIGNMENT related not: Had the pleasure of skyping with Niamh right after I got some instructions from Prof. Galtung. Thus she will convey the content of his instructions to you all. Thanks Niamh for taking this on, Naakow.

Hi all – copied below are my proposed questions for this Saturday’s Skype session with the Professor. I’m not 100% sure they’re exactly what’s being asked for but I thought I’d have a crack anyway. Let me […]

Awesome work Laura. First off – do we want to coordinate our questions for this weekend’s Skype session? I know I’m still very much feeling my way through the quite dense material and would love to compare […]

I suggest an open dialogue about the readings with a focus on Therapy and whether you see any patterns and methods in Prof. Galtung’s lectures. From the readings, perhaps collect as quotes all the statements that […]

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I found this weeks lecture to really echo what Galtung was saying in the first one. I also found the reading this week interesting. It is important to set professional standards for any emerging field of practice and I think Galtung did a good job in doing this. Addressing the difference between realist…[Read more] -

Hi everyone! Osa and I had a great Skype session with Naakow this morning in which we discussed the Skype session and purpose of the collective assignments, which I am personally quite excited about.
The Skype session on Saturdays will run for 60 minutes and we are asked to submit our questions from the readings or anything else of Johan’s…[Read more]

Sounds great Laura. And many thanks for capturing and conveying this important information on the tasks ahead. I think a forum topic on the collective assignment task is an excellent idea.

No problems Liam – although Naakow has just suggested the chat function might be better. I’ll set something up!

Oh by no means was mine intended to undermine your own dynamics. These two possibilities aren’t mutually exclusive. Infact they’re supposed to enable you to communicate in real time AND produce texts for referral – simultaneously. Please by all means use all means synchronically :-).

Dear participants, OSA and LAURA (we just had a fun Skype Session) will (a) get in touch with you and (b) assist you in understanding what is expected of you – in broad terms – for the COLLECTIVE ASSIGNMENTS! In no way does this mean that Keil and I are no longer on stand by. Ask us any and all questions at any time.

Dear both: You both go straight to the heart of the PRAXEOLOGICAL question in CONFLICT TRANSFORMATION. A short but core answer: What are you trying to transform? This leads us to the next question: What is in a goal? Answer: The interests and the values of said actor! These 2 “molecules” INTERESTS+VALUES make up what we call a GOAL. To transform…[Read more]
