Peace is not an end to be achieved, but the means. It is the formation of a sound societal structure that eliminate barriers that limit an individual’s potential.

How did you find this community?

Enrolled in a course of the Transcend Peace University.

Do you have any professional experience in the field of peace-research? peace-studies? peace-practice?

No.

Are you at all familiar with concepts of Nonviolence and Conflict Transformation?

Vaguely touched upon in previous study, but I am not very familiar with them.

What are your primary conceptual interests and concerns

I have a background in International Relations and particularly with an interest in international security. Lately I have been involved in work relating to immigration, particularly pertaining to Australia. The most relevant subject I wish to gain a greater understanding of, and ultimately pursue is peace-building – particularly becoming involved in a practical sense.
